Program Epiros 2006 GENERAL INFORMATIONS The trip: Start with Anek Lines ferries from Ancona, arrival at Igoumenitsa in the heart of Epiros. The share includes vehicles transport and cabbin ticket for all passengers. For who: suitable to all kayakers able to paddle class 3°/4°, in case of different ability we can make more groups. When: 29 April to 7 May Transports: with Alpin Action vans, all costs are included in the share.. Overnight stay: 5 nights in tent and 1 night in hotel, all is included. Meals: 5 breakfasts at camps and 1 in Hotel, lunch at camps or restaurant, 1 dinners at restaurant and 5 at camps. Breakfast, lunch and dinners at ferry restaurant are included as well. Our services: Kayak teachers and assistance during white water descents, use of our vehicles and drivers, our cook for camp meals. Personal equipment: Tent, camping matress, sleeping bag, trekking shoes, warm sweeter, waterproof jacket. Personal paddling gear: Creek or River Running kayak, spraydeck, neopren long john, helmet, dry top, shoes, spare paddle, cowtail, first aid kit small, dry bag 20 lt. Program 29.04.06 h 13.00 embarkation at Ancona port 30.04.06 h 8.00 arrival at Igoumenitsa port transfer to Vrossina, descent river Langafzas, transfer to camp Voidomatis. 01.05.06 descent river Voidomatis 02.05.06 descent river Keratsoviticos or visit at Vikos Gorge, transfer at Plaka, Arachtos camp. 03.05.06 descent river Arachtos. 04.05.06 descent river Kallariticos and transfer to Acheron River. 05.05.06 descent Acheron river and transfer to Parga on the seaside. 06.05.06 transfer to Igoumenitsa and embarkation h 22.30 07.05.06 arrival at Ancona port h 12.30 The program may change according to water levels.
